Invention:

Families had to pay if they wanted their children to be trained for a job.  This was called an apprenticeship, and they still exist today (although now it is the apprentice that gets paid for working and not the business owner).

Queen Victoria was 19 years old on the 24th May and she had officially been Queen for 1 year, but her coronation doesn't take place until now, a year later, at Westminster Abbey.
